Rev. Dr. James C. Braswell, Ph.D
Pastor James Carl Braswell, Jr. was born on September 10, 1945. Dr. Braswell has been married to Jeryl Christine Slaughenhaupt for over 44 years. Jeryl and Jim graduated two years apart, from Douglas S. Freeman High School in Richmond, VA. They have 5 children ranging in ages of 20's to 40's, and are the proud grandparents of 13, ranging in ages from toddler to 20's and three Great Grandsons.
Pastor Jim is a second career clergy person, spending 15 years in business. Pastor Jim has an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Master's degree of Divinity and a Ph.D in Psychology. He has been a Pastor for over 25 years, shepherding churches in North Carolina, Virginia, Michigan, South Carolina, and now Georgia. Dr. Braswell is a member of the Americal Psychological Association and the Association of Christian Counselors. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, carpentry, reading, and gardening. Pastor Jim has served on the Board of Directors for NCARV (North Carolinians Against Racial and Religious Violence), The Women's Center (for abused women and children), Onslow County Cancer Society, served on The Mayor's Advisory Board, The Sheriff's Advisory Committee, The Rural Assistance Committee for the NC Synod, and the Emergency Response Team. In addition, Pastor Jim has also served with the volunteer rescue squad, the Boy Scouts of America, helped develop low cost child care programs, mentored middle school children,helped establish a Montessori School, A member of the Board of Directors for the Georgia ALS Society, Center for Racial Understanding and is involved with numerous community outreach programs.

Thomas Williford- Director of Music and Organist

Thomas Williford is a native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and has been involved with music from an early age. As an organist, he has played services as well as recitals at various Atlanta area churches. He has attended two AGO Pipe Organ Encounters, and has been an Organ Scholar for the Royal School of Church Music courses in Charlotte, NC, in 2009 and 2010. During the Christmas season of 2006 he was featured in a concert at Atlanta's Fox Theater on the Mighty Möller Pipe Organ. Thomas has served as accompanist for the Collins Hill chorus and as Vocal Director and accompanist in the school's production of Little Shop of Horrors. Thomas is a student at Mercer University, studying organ under Dr. Robert Parris. His teachers have included Sarah Martin, Dr. Graham Purkerson (organ) and Lois Finlay (piano).

Bridget is a native of Macon, Georgia and owns her own cleaning business. She is the newest Redeemer staff member. Ms. Ward also keeps the nursery on Sunday Mornings, providing consistency, supervision, and a Christian atmoshere for all children under her care.
